وصله های امنیتی مایکروسافت مربوط به ماه فوریه 2020 منتشر شد. لازم به ذکر است این ماه اولین باری است که کاربران ویندوز 7 بروزرسانی های امنیتی را دریافت نمی کنند. در این به روزرسانی ، مایکروسافت 99 آسیب پذیری موجود در محصولات خود را برطرف کرده است. از میان این آسیب پذیری ها ، 10 مورد حیاتی ،87 مورد مهم و 2 مورد متوسط طبقه بندی شده اند.

برطرف شدن آسیب پذیری روز صفر موجود در اینترنت اکسپلورر
در اواسط ماه ژانویه 2020، مایکروسافت وجود یک آسیب پذیری روز صفر در اینترنت اکسپلورر رو با کد (CVE-2020-0674) که به طور جدی نیز مورد سوءاستفاده قرار گرفت را اعلام کرد. در به روزرسانی های امنیتی این ماه یک وصله امنیتی رسمی برای این آسیب پذیری توسط مایکروسافت منتشر شده است. علاوه بر این آسیب پذیری، سه آسیب پذیری گزارش شده دیگر با کدهای شناسایی CVE-2020-0683 و CVE-2020-0686 و CVE-2020-0706 نیز در این به روزرسانی رفع شده است.
